Archos Media Player Functionality
Do you ever wonder how other people use their Archos Media Player? I don’t know about everyone else, but I do know how my husband uses his. My husband is an electronic gadget fanatic. He loves to buy anything that plugs in or runs on batteries that will entertain him for a time, but he goes crazy over things that will entertain him plus make his life easier. He has an Archos 604 Wi-Fi Media Player, and I must say that it is one of his favorites. He uses this Media Player every single day, and not just for entertainment. You see my husband works for a railroad as a locomotive engineer. He carries a ton of stuff with him to work every day in a huge duffle bag, and one thing that he is required to have on his person at all times is the company rule book with all the current updates included. This is a monster of a book, and it weighs a ton; however, my husband’s Archos Media Player has enabled him to do away with this big and bulky book. When he first purchased his Archos Media Player, he logged onto the railroad website and downloaded an electronic copy of the rule book to store on his media player. Now, a couple nights a week, he logs onto the railroad website and downloads the rule book updates in PDF format and stores them as well on his Archos Media Player. This way he always has an updated copy of the rule book on his person at all times, but it is stored in a convenient, portable, lightweight, compact and highly functional electronic component; no more big, bulky and incredible heavy binders to carry. This not only makes his job easier with less weight to carry, but having the rule book in an electronic copy makes it easier for him to quickly look up changes to rules and regulations that he needs to know in order to perform his job more efficiently; no more searching through pages and pages of text to find these changes, but rather the pushing a few buttons and bingo. Aside from the functionality of the Archos Media Players, my husband loves to watch movies on his. There are times where he and his co-worker will be sitting on the train for hours waiting for working orders or other trains to pass by, so instead of sitting in utter boredom, he plugs in his Archos Media Player and watches a movie or two. Let’s just say that he is a huge movie buff as well. Now, again, I don’t know how anyone else uses their Archos Media Player, but this is what my husband uses his for. He really likes the Archos because it is highly functional, portable, compact, and lightweight plus it has an incredible digital quality display. If you love electronic toys and gadgets, and you are looking for a highly functional and high quality portable media player, Archos is an incredible choice.
